Objectives and Goals

Home : AEMS 2014 Report : Objectives and Goals

There were four basic objectives for the 2014 AEMS project on Ile a Vache. These were:

  • Update potable water source information on Île à Vache.
  • Develop a methodology to review public structures to include shelters and critical facilities and mission essential functions (MEF) equipment.
  • Develop a comprehensive hazard map of Ile a Vache
  • Develop community outreach material outlining the data collected and planning accomplished

About EMHS and CDRP

The Emergency Management and Homeland Security Program at Florida State offers undergraduate and graduate certificates in Emergency Management as well as the EM specialization in the Masters of Public Administration Program. The Center for Disaster Risk Policy is an applied research center at FSU and the research arm of EMHS. CDRP provide technical assistance to local, state and federal entities in the fields of disaster and emergency management.
